This has to be the worst theology I have ever heard in a song.

Wow... that has to be the most overtly man-centered (self)worship song I have ever heard. But, if the song is true, then who is really sovereign? who is really lost? is it man or God? Basically it comes down to this: if a person becomes a repentant believer, what do we say to them, "Congratulations, you've made the right choice" or "Praise God that He saved you"? Who do we offer praise to and why? The answer to that will determine exactly how God-centered you are (or aren't). John 1:12-13
I believe this song is great. God doesn't make us believe in Him, but gives us a choice...it's free will. God can make us believe, but he chooses to let us believe on Him. It just shows how great He is. We should just be thankful that He gave us the choice...what would become of us if he didn't? The question isn't how we worship Him, but that we worship Him.
