An Overview of the New Perspective on Paul

On today's program I addressed the movement known as the "New Perspective on Paul." I gave an overview of the movement, detailing the views of the four major figures: Krister Stendahl, E.P. Sanders, James Dunn, and N.T. Wright.  I gave a brief critique of the major ideas involved in the movement, and pointed to helpful resources.

So would the NPP be considered heretical, or at the very least strongly heterodox, Jordan? To be honest, it comes across as "another gospel" as Paul said in Galatians 1 because it seems to undermine the cross of Christ.

I know the word "heretical" needs to be used with care, but at the same time the NPP, from all I've seen and read of it, it screams of another gospel.

The audio is corrupt in a few places. e.g. 51:41, 51:50, 51:58, 52:

I've tried downloading it twice and both files have the same corruptions.
